Spine unstained. 50 plates of flowers in colours by Madeleine LEMAIRE engraved outside the text under serpente. Edition at 1000 copies; n°60 of 100 on Japon (first paper) with a double suite of illustrations and a small unpublished ORIGINAL AQUARELLE by Madeleine Lemaire. Copy enriched with an autograph letter signed by Madeleine Lemaire dated April 1911 (4 pp. in-4). Added : THÉIS (Alexandre de). Glossary of botany or etymological dictionary of all the names and terms related to this science. Paris, Dufour, 1810. In-8 brown basane, smooth spine decorated, red title page (period binding). 2 folding tables. E.A.S. from the author to Dr. Lejeune with the latter's ex-libris stamp on the title.
