The sale will be in Euros.
Buyers will pay a fee in addition to the auction:
- 28% VAT included for all payments in Europe
- 29.2% incl. VAT for credit card payments outside the European Union (bank charges).
An exhibition prior to the sale allows potential buyers to see the condition of the lots before the sale. No claims will be accepted once the sale was claimed. The weights are given as an indication and cannot be the subject of any complaint. LYNDA TROUVE is at your service to provide conditions reports of the lots.
A fee will be added for Drouot Live buyers, 1.5 % HT.
ABSENTEE BID
The bidder who cannot be present at the sale, will have to fill in the purchase order form included in the catalog. The purchase order must reach us 48 hours before the sale with the bank details and a copy of his ID card. The absentee bids or telephone bidding are a facility offered to our customers; LYNDA TROUVE or its employees will never be held responsible for any error or omission in the execution of the order received.
THE AUCTIONS
Double bidding: In case of double bidding recognized effective by the authorized auctioneer, the lot will be put back on sale, all the bidders will be able to take part in this second auction.
Right of preemption: It is reminded that the French State has a right of preemption on certain objects (works of art, archives, etc.). This right can be exercised during the sale and must be confirmed within 15 days following the date of the sale in question. Confirmation of this right within the time limit entails subrogation of the French State to the successful bidder.
Any changes to the conditions of sale or to the description of the lots in the catalog will be announced verbally during the sale and noted in the minutes.
PAYMENT
Payment must be made immediately after the sale.
The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to public auctions.
The purchaser will only receive the item purchased at the sale after full and effective payment of the price, commissions and related costs. The purchaser will be able to pay the objects and taxes, in euros, by the following means:

Customs and tax formalities at the expense of the purchaser: In the event of export of a purchased lot, all the steps, declarations and/or requests for authorization are the responsibility of the purchaser. Under no circumstances shall a refusal or delay by the purchaser constitute grounds for cancellation or termination of the sale, nor shall it constitute grounds for delay in the payment of the invoice(s) due to LYNDA TROUVÉ SASU under the terms hereof.

The voluntary sales operator is a member of the Central Register for the prevention of unpaid debts of auctioneers with which payment incidents are likely to be registered. The rights of access, rectification and opposition on legitimate grounds are to be exercised by the debtor concerned at Symev 15 rue Freycinet 75016 Paris.
BOOKS AND DOCUMENTS
Books and documents are sold as is, described by a general impression (Bad condition, state of use, good condition, very good condition and perfect condition). A preliminary exhibition over 2 full days allows buyers to see the precise condition of the books and documents offered for sale by examining them themselves or by a designated third party. The staff of the auction house is at their disposal for any information. No claims will be accepted once the auction has been declared.
BIJOUX
No claims will be accepted for customary restorations and small accidents, as the public exhibition has allowed the examination of the lots offered for sale. Precious and fine stones may have been treated to enhance their value. For example: oiling of emeralds, heat treatment of rubies and sapphires, whitening of pearls, etc... these treatments are traditional and accepted on the international jewelry market. In view of the increasing number of new treatments, the stones presented without a certificate are sold without any guarantee as to a possible treatment. It is specified that the origin of the stones and the quality (color and purity of the diamonds) reflect the opinion of the laboratory issuing the certificate. No claim will be accepted if another laboratory issues a different opinion and the sales company and the expert cannot be held responsible. Concerning the watches: restorations, modifications, technical characteristics, serial numbers, dimensions, weight are notified to the best of our ability. They are given only as an indication to facilitate the inspection of the potential purchaser and remain subject to his personal appreciation. The responsibility of the auctioneer and the expert cannot be called into question in case of omissions that may remain despite the precautions taken. The absence of any indication does not imply that a watch is free of defect. No guarantee is made on the condition of watches and bracelets. The purchaser is responsible for any revisions, adjustments and water-resistance. No claim will be accepted once the auction has taken place. Concerning the precious metals: it is understood that the abbreviations concerning 18k gold corresponds to 750 thousandths, 14k corresponds to 585 thousandths, 9k corresponds to 375 thousandths; concerning platinum corresponds to 850 thousandths and concerning silver corresponds to 800 thousandths.
REMOVAL FROM PURCHASES AND STORAGE
As soon as the auction is pronounced, the awarded objects are placed under the responsibility of the purchaser. It is thus up to him to insure his lots from this moment. Purchases are to be collected in the auction room on the day of the sale and the following day until 10 am. Bulky items will be stored at the Drouot warehouse at the expense of the buyer. Small items will be available at our office at : 9 cité Trévise, 75009 Paris and must be picked up as soon as possible or they will be invoiced.
(*) Lots preceded by an asterisk are subject to temporary importation. Re-export formalities will be at the buyer's expense.
(*) Specimen prior to 01/06/47 in accordance with EC regulation 338-97 of 09/12/1996 art. 2-W. For an exit of the EU, a CITES of export is necessary, it is the responsibility of the buyer.
