1945-1946 Jacques DOUILLET. Italian-style booklet featuring 33 humorous plates on the lives of SASB soldiers in Saigon between 1945 and 1946. The SASB or commando Ponchardier was created by Admiral Henri Nomy at the end of the Second World War, on the model of the British SAS. Initially intended to fight against the Japanese invasion as part of the CLI, the battalion was eventually engaged against the Vietnminh between 1945 and 1946. Dimensions: 21x13 cm. Enclosed: - An international driving license issued by the Republic of Vietnam dated December 14, 1965 in Saigon in accordance with the international traffic agreements of September 19, 1949.
