1920-1937. A set of about 55 photographic prints and postcards of some official ceremonies in Vientiane where Mr. Tullié was the director of education in Laos. - Visit of the Governor General René Robin, in April and May 1936 (Visit of the Collège Pavie, Sisakhel...). - Visit of the Governor General Brévié. - Visit of Admiral Esteva. Jean Pierre Esteva was promoted to the rank of Admiral in 1937. - H.E. Prince Tiao Phetsarath. - Scouting festivities in June 1936. with flag presentation by Mr. Eutrope, Superior Resident in Laos. Including a large silver print (one photo torn. - Ceremony of Boun Bang Faï (May 1936) : this religious ceremony celebrated in Laos at the full moon of May, honors the Birth of the Buddha as well as the rainy season. On this occasion, as they rise into the sky, bamboo rockets made by the inhabitants are launched to fertilize the clouds and trigger the monsoon. The ceremony takes place around a procession of all the Buddhist clergy. - Colonial road n°13, 4 prints concerning works on the waterway. - Celebration of the King of Siam in Saigon in 1930.
