Attachment featuring dolphins facing each other on a radiating background. Openwork decoration of a dolphin evolving among aquatic plants bordered by a wavy frieze. Tête de Vieillard hallmark. Paris, 1836-1838. Length: 35 cm. Width: 8 cm. Net weight: 121.4 g. Gross weight: 146.5 g. A Parisian silversmith, François-Pamphile JOZAN worked from 1836 to 1847 at 19, rue Simon-le-Franc in the IVth arrondissement.
