Romantic clock in chased and gilded bronze, the white enameled dial with Roman numeral hour markers inscribed in a case forming the wheel of a cannon supporting a leaning man in Renaissance costume and resting on a large oval base adorned with trophies of arms, garlands and leafy clasps. Mid 19th century. Presented with a glass dome, encircled by gilded metal. Height: 35 cm. Length: 43 cm. (Accents and frailties, rear bezel of mechanism missing).
