Important framed Kammavaca. The manuscript consists of two rigid red and gold lacquered wooden covers and nine double-sided lacquered and gilded latanier leaf boards. Inscriptions in Pali written in Burmese characters known as "tamarind seeds". Burma, 18th-19th century. Total dimensions: 180x74 cm. Provenance: French private collection. Acquired before 1977 from a gallery.
