Large scroll-shaped vase in Famille Rose enameled porcelain. The belly decorated with a large landscape populated by immortals, Xiwangmu and her followers in the clouds, with Kui Xing in full race, above the Eight Immortals, six in a boat (He Xiangu at the helm, with Lü Dongbin, Zhongli Quan, Zhang Guolao, Lan Caihe and Cao Guojiu) facing two others on shore (Li Tieguai and Han Xiangzi), a group of other Taoist deities (the San Xing or Three Stars -Fu Xing, Lu Xing and Shou Xing - as well as Wenchang) on the high terrace of a palace, the young He-He Er Xian below, and Liu Hai and his sapèques leaning over the water a little further on, the collar decorated, between a Greek frieze under the lip and a band of varied flowers on the shoulder, with a female deity flying on a crane facing a god surrounded by children and a deer in a palace in the sky. Apocryphal Qianlong mark in iron red under the base. China, late 19th-early 20th century. Height: 60.5 cm.
