A cloisonné baluster vase decorated with marine backgrounds on a blue background. The shoulder is decorated with friezes of Greek, floral and stylized lotus motifs on a red background, the neck inscribed with sigillary characters. Mounted in openwork gilt bronze. China, Qing Dynasty (1744-1912), late 19th century. Height: 32.5 cm. (Good condition. Electrified, formerly mounted as a kerosene lamp. Complete with glass globe)
