Tripod bronze vase with brown patina. The body is incised with archaic taotie mask motifs, resting on a tripod base, partially openwork and decorated with grimacing glutton faces. Narrow neck with flared rim.
China, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), 16th-17th century.
