Utagawa Kunisada (1686-1865) Two oban tate-e prints, one from the Hanagoyami kichijitsu sugata series (Beauties of the auspicious days of the flower calendar) depicting a woman covering her head, autumn leaves falling on her, signed on the right Kunisada aratame Nidaime Toyokuni ga, 1844 (margins cut), and the other done with Utagawa Kunihisa II, In front of Daion-ji temple (Daion-ji mae) from the series of One Hundred Beautiful Women in Famous Places in Edo (Edo meisho hyakunin bijo), signed Toyokuni ga lower right, and Kunihisa ga in the landscape upper left. 1858 (cut margins, small holes). Dimensions: 36.2x24.9 cm and 35.6x24.6 cm.
