A Hué blue-white porcelain dish decorated with a lacustrine landscape animated by a scholar and his servant, the lip encircled with metal.
Marked with a rare calligraphic poem inspired by the text "Journey to the Mountain" by Du Mu 杜牧 (803-852), famous Chinese poet of the Tang dynasty: "I stopped the carriage because I loved the night view of the maple forest in late autumn.
The maple leaves, stained by the autumn frost, were more beautiful than the spring flowers in February" 停車坐爱枫林晚霜葉扣於二月花玉機圖.
