Large straight stemmed glass in partially bluish crystal, engraved with a checkerboard pattern framed by branches, and revealing on either side in medallions the cipher of Empress Catherine II (1729-1796) and the double-headed eagle of the Russian Empire enhanced with gold. Fluted foot with balls. 18th-century work attributable to the Imperial Glassworks of Saint Petersburg. Height: 25 cm. Diameter: 9 cm. (Good condition).
