MANUFACTURE DE TOULA. A steel and copper, brass and pewter-applied, cylindrical TIRELIRE with classical-style decoration of flower garlands held in place by branches. The hinged lid is slotted and decorated en suite, and features a tongue-shaped latch. Interior lined with purplish velvet. Manufacture impériale d'armes de TOULA, first half of the 19th century, signed under the base T. I. SVECHNIKOV. Height: 5.5 cm. Diameter: 6 cm. (Oxidation).
