END OF THE REIGN OF S.M. DUY TAN (1907-1916)- REIGN OF S.M. EMPEROR KHAI DINH (1916-1925). Imperial decree box in red and gold lacquered wood decorated with the four sacred animals. The front is decorated with two dragons facing each other, the lid with two phœnixes framing the sacred pearl, and the back with two fô dogs. The sides are decorated with turtles. The box rests on six crenellated feet decorated with Greek friezes. Indochina, early 20th century. Height: 13 cm. Length: 59 cm. Width: 13 cm. (Misses and wear).
