Two depicting Chinese ships, the other two may form a pair and present scenes of Chinese torments including the cangue known as "mu jia" 木枷 equivalent to the pillory in the West. As shown in the second scene, the victim was forced to beg for food. China, Canton, 19th century. Dimensions (as seen): 30x19 cm; 25x15.5 cm; 14.5x 21.5 cm. (Accidents).
