Hierarch, Tibet or China. 18th century. Embossed and gilded copper. The master is seated, his body covered by a beautiful robe entirely incised with auspicious and geometric motifs. He gestures to teach with his right hand, while his left rests in his lap. He wears a large, square beard, and the treatment of his face is realistic, close to portraiture. Height: 10.5 cm.
