Meeting of four fans made of feathers, fabrics, mirrors, sequins and metallic threads. The red and gold lacquer handles are decorated with clouds ending in an Annam dragon head holding a Tho symbol in its mouth. The upper part of one decorated with dragons and phœnix floating above tumultuous waves, the other three adorned with the four sacred animals (dragon, turtle, qilin and phœnix). The rim is richly embellished with colored feathers and peacock feathers. Indochina, late 19th century for one - 20th century for the other three. Height: 84 cm.
