Reunion of two straight Annamite mandarin swords known as "kiem", which can form a pair, in bronze nielloed with silver and copper, the scabbard decorated with pampers, blossoming flowers and gourds, set off by three 800°/°° silver appliques with stamped and chased decoration of the four sacred animals. The handle features an inlaid Tho symbol. The hilt has a curved edge decorated with a front-facing Annam dragon holding a symbol of longevity in its mouth. Indochina, late 19th century. Length: 84 and 89 cm. Gross weight: 1181.4 g and 1037.6 g.
