Rare opium pipe and stove holder in the form of a pagoda entrance portico in red lacquered wood with gilded ideograms. Made in the Hué style, the frame is adorned with carved motifs of bats and sapeks. It is adorned with a triptych of watercolors on paper depicting the Quan Thanh temple in Hanoi (Pagoda of the Great Buddha). (Accidents). The watercolor in the center is signed E. Lien and numbered 5053, the other two are mongrammed. They bear a monogrammed stamp of an unfolded scholar's scroll. On the back of the center watercolor, an embossed label La Perle - Hanoi.
