A blue-white "Hué blue" porcelain double-body vase decorated - Lot 249
A blue-white "Hué blue" porcelain double-body vase decorated on one side with a lake scene, the back with a five-clawed dragon in clouds on a cobalt-blue ground, the shoulder with two chimera-headed handles, the slightly flared neck encircled by metal. Underglaze blue four-character mark under the base "Thanh Hoa Nien Chê" meaning "made during the reign of Thanh Hoa". Presented on a carved wooden base. Indochina, late 19th century. Height of the vase alone: 33 cm. Total height: 40 cm. (Restorations).
