China for Vietnam, late 19th/early 20th century Pair of blue-white porcelain candlesticks (or lamps) (known as Bleu de Hué) decorated with the eight auspicious Buddhist emblems amid flowering branches, each made in two parts, one of lenticular form resting on a baluster foot with a wide round base with a four-character mark below, 金玉錦記 Kim Ngoc Cam Kee. Height: 25.5 cm. (Chips at top of base (rim) on both, with restoration on one). Expert: Léonore de Magnée.
