Pair of partially glazed fine earthenware amphora vases with flat bottoms and openwork side handles. Polychrome decoration on a lustrous bronze background of a sinister couple and phoenixes in reserve among flowers and foliage. Quadripod base. Marked "Austria" and "Amphora". Numbered. Label "Au Plais de cristal. Léon Follet. Bruxelles" under each vase. Austria, circa 1900. Height: 29 cm. (Some wear).
