Large, straight, single-body cabinet in molded and carved oa - Lot 90
Large, straight, single-body cabinet in molded and carved oak. Opens at the top with three leaves. The lower part features three drawers. Decorated in relief with ram or lion heads, fruit baskets, garlands, masks and foliage. Front jambs adorned with termite figures. Napkin-pleated sides. Resting on a plinth base. Early Renaissance work. Height: 148.5 cm. Width: 160 cm. Depth: 63.5 cm. (Some accidents, cracks). Provenance: Purchased in 1918 from Galerie Courtade, formerly Maison Guesnu, Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
