Rosewood, violet wood and stained wood veneer straight chest of drawers. Opens with three drawers. Flat front mounts with simulated fluting. Apron with cul-de-lampe. Curved front legs. Inlaid decoration of butterfly wings in rectangular frames edged with ribbon motifs. Stamped Jacques-Antoine LECLERC, received master in 1779. Transitional Louis XV-Louis XVI period. Gilded bronze trim on the keyways, corner falls, mobile handles, lamp bases and sabot. Sainte-Anne gray marble top. Height: 86 cm. Width: 95.5 cm. Depth: 46.5 cm. (Restorations).
