Pair of circular bronze medallions representing respectively Emperor Napoleon I of the French (1769-1821) in bust and head to the right, and King Frederick II of Prussia (1712-1786) in bust and head to the left, both in high relief, the frames chased with rope friezes, water leaves, ovals and pearls, with hanging brackets and attachments.
French work from the second half of the 19th century.
