Large rectangular table in molded and carved wood, partially - Lot 192
Large rectangular table in molded and carved wood, partially inlaid with mother-of-pearl. Folding top with flaps, sheathed inside in navy-blue felt. Openwork belt with sinister interlacing motifs, opening with a drawer on each front. Claw-footed chimera legs joined by an "H"-shaped spacer centered on a dragon. Partially engraved decoration of asymmetrical cartouches with flowers and foliage bordered by scrolls.
Second half of the 19th century, attributed to Gabriel VIARDOT (1830-1904).
