Set comprising: - A rectangular box with cut sides in painted enamels on copper, the top of the lid decorated with a seated woman and a little boy in Western clothes and headdress in a landscape surrounded by a frieze of pink scrolls, the sides decorated with black scrolls, and a fruit motif on a white background inside (including the lid) and below. China, 18th century. Height: 3.6 cm. Length: 8.4 cm. Width: 6.2 cm. (Wear, cracks, enamel chips and a small restoration). - A copper-painted enamel plate with central decoration of a lady and dignitary in the palace, surrounded by lobed cartouches with flowers on a yellow ground, the reverse with prunus flowers and broken glass in pink, with a phoenix and a peony on a white ground. China, 18th century. Diameter: 21.8 cm. (Missing enamels, extensive restoration). Expert: L.M.
