Two plates from a royal porcelain service with central decoration of the coat of arms of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the motto PREACHAU GRUNG CAMPUCHEA. The rim is decorated with a frieze of laurel leaves, gilded Greek foliage and festoons. Oval mark of the merchant W. GUERIN & Cie PARIS & LIMOGES.

The Guérin sons joined the William Guérin factory, founded in 1872 in Limoges, whose name was changed to W. Guérin & Cie. Guérin & Cie in 1903. The company was dissolved in 1932.
The A. Lanternier specialized in porcelain for the nobility after the 1st World War. It also made a name for itself at the 1925 Exhibition and the 1931 Colonial Exhibition.
The polychrome and gold coat of arms is that of Norodom Sihanouk's personal reign after the end of the French protectorate in 1953. The motto is a Latin transcription of the motto Preah Chau Krong Kampuchea (King of the Kingdom of Cambodia).
